Job Description

Reporting to the Assistant Accountant, the successful candidate’s main duties will include:

• Post invoices in SAGE accounting system
• Reconcile banks accounts
• Update the fixed asset register
• Bank all Institutional receipts timely following prescribed cash management procedures
• Assist the Assistant Accountant in the preparation of audit schedules
• Prepare timely MRA returns
• Debt Collection
• Any other duties as assigned from time to time.


The Accounts Assistant will have the following qualifications.

• At least a Diploma in Accounting or its equivalent
• Advanced and demonstrable knowledge and proficiency of SAGE Line 50 Accounting Systems
• Computer Literacy, especially in Microsoft Application Packages e.g. Excel. Word, PowerPoint.
• At least 3 years’ experience in a SAGE Line 50 processing environment.
• An attractive remuneration package, which includes medical insurance, airtime etc., will be offered to the successful candidates
