Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons of Malawi origin not more than 40 years to fill vacant positions in the Ministry of Agriculture as follows:-
Post: Carpenter
Grade: M
Salary: Within Grade M Salary scale segment
Location: Various Departments within Min. Of Agriculture
Qualification
Applicants should be in possession of Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE) and Trade Test Grade One (1) Certificate in Carpentry.
Duties
The Successful candidates will be required to perform the following tasks;
i. Carryout comprehensive Carpentry inspection report on Carpentry work.
ii. Compile a list of Carpentry materials required to carry out maintenance work.
iii. Maintain and apply safe working practices to prevent accidents.
iv. Doing general routine Maintenance in carpentry.
v. Carry out construction works especially those related to roofing.
vi. Carry out any other duty as may be assigned.
