Kamuzu College of Nursing (KCN) a constituent college of the University of Malawi in collaboration with the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) will be conducting a 5-year Group Antenatal Care research project in Blantyre, Malawi with funding from the National institutes of Health, National Institute for Nursing Research. The successful candidate will be required to execute driving, cleaning and advising Project Administrator on vehicle maintenance responsibilities.


The following are some of the key responsibilities of the post:

i. Picking up and delivering project staff and clients;
ii. Conducting daily and routine motor vehicle checks;
iii. Reporting vehicle faults and accidents;
iv. Maintaining vehicle logbook;
v. Driving and cleaning vehicles;
vi. Advising Project Administrator on vehicle repairs and renewal of licenses;
vii. Ensuring security of vehicles.

Qualification and Competencies

Applicants must have:

Clean Cl driving license;
Defensive driving certificate and 2 years’ experience
