Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons of Malawi origin not more than 40 years to fill vacant positions in the Ministry of Agriculture as follows:-
Post: Electrician
Grade: M
Salary: Within Grade M Salary scale segment
Location: Various Departments within Min. Of Agriculture
Qualification:
Applicants should be in possession of Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE) and Trade Test Grade One (1) Certificate in Electrical work.
Duties
The Successful candidates will be required to perform the following tasks;
i. Carryout comprehensive house inspection on electrical systems.
ii. Compile a list of spares for service and repair.
iii. Installation of Electrical appliances in Government buildings and staff houses.
iv. Maintain and apply safe working practices to prevent accidents.
v. Carryout any other duty as may be assigned.
