Malawi Network of Older Persons' Organisations (MANEPO)

MANEPO is an umbrella body coordinating civil society organisations whose aim is to help older people claim their rights, challenge discrimination and overcome poverty, so that they can lead dignified, secure, active and healthy lives In Malawi.

MANEPO Is set to implement a comprehensive community outreach project in Blantyre, Chikwawa and Nsanje districts from 1 May, 2019. Applications are hereby Invited from competent persons for the below positions:

FIELD OFFICERS (3)

Specific duties and responsibilities

Under the overall guidance and the supervision of the Team Lead, the Field Officer will have the following key responsibilities:

Assist in formulating project action plans
Preparing reports (monthly, quarterly and annual) according to project requirements
Assist In conducting field monitoring and impact assessments using relevant tools
Perform any other duties as assigned from time to time.

Minimum qualification and experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Social work, Community Development, Development Studies or other related fields
• He/she should have a minimum of 2 years work experience in outreach projects.
• A knowledge of Microsoft Office packages are essential.
• Written and oral communication skills and proficiency in English are essentials
• Results oriented and excellent leadership, team management and organizational skills
• Ability to work in rural poor and able to plan, organize, implement and report as appropriate
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft office packages and Internet
• Ability to meet deadlines and targets.
