Our client conducting a one month market research is seeking to recruit energetic, aggressive, self-motivated and result oriented individuals to fill the post below;

FIELD RESEARCHER (7 POSITIONS)

  • The field researchers are responsible carrying out the actual research which includes data collection and follow the selected research methodology and supporting techniques to meet a defined business objective. Depending upon the selected methods, the Research Supervisor develops or assists in the development of the research instrument. They work closely with the
  • Research Supervisor ensuring the successful execution of the fieldwork.

Locations: Lilongwe, Kasungu, Salima, Karonga, Mzuzu, Blantyre and Mangochi

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct literature reviews
  • Collect and analyze data
  • Prepare interview questions
  • Recruit and/or interview subjects
  • Maintain accurate records of interviews, safeguarding the confidentiality of subjects, as necessary
  • Summarize interviews
  • Provide ready access to all experimental data for the faculty researcher and/or supervisor
  • Request or acquire equipment or supplies necessary for the project
  • Attend project meetings
  • Attend area seminars and other meetings as necessary
  • Summarize project results
  • Prepare progress reports
  • Selecting the most appropriate research methodology and techniques
  • Designing research questionnaires and moderator guides
  • Working with Field Researchers to oversee the fieldwork initiative
  • Interpreting data, writing reports, and making actionable recommendations

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years within the custom Market Research industry
  • 1 to 3 years of industry/sector experience
  • Academic and practical experience with a wide array of new product, brand, advertising and customer satisfaction research methodologies
  • Exceptional written and oral communication abilities
  • Strong analytic skills with experience in statistical modeling and analysis
  • Proficient with Excel and PowerPoint
  • University Degree in a business related area
