The Role – MEAL COORDINATOR

We are looking for a results oriented Malawian to fill the position of Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEAL) Coordinator that has become vacant in Oxfam in Malawi. The successful candidate will lead, manage and strengthen Oxfam’s MEL system and coordinate the development and implementation of Oxfam’s MEL framework. The key responsibilities under this position include leadership on program quality; program learning and development; organisational management and compliance; and communication and representation.

What we are looking for

Applicants should possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant social science. a Master’s Degree will be an added advantage. The applicants should also have strong operational management ability with a clear focus on results delivery; should be competent to work with significant levels of autonomy, showing creativity and initiative and ability to prioritise strategically. They should have strong technical competence in research, learning and monitoring and evaluation methods, theory and practice, and good grasp
