Ex-miners Association in Malawi (EMAM)

The Registered Trustees of Ex-miners Association Malawi registered under the Trustees Incorporation act in 2015 popularized as Ex-miners Association in Malawi (EMAM) is a non-profit making oriented organisation whose vision is to reach a point where all Ex-miners are self-reliance and can support their families. They should have better standard of livings in terms of all basic needs like shelter and food.
One way to achieve this is to make sure that miners are living a health life that’s why the organisation is currently implementing the below project;

The office assistant will be responsible for handling clerical tasks. He/she will report to the Admin & Finance Manager and will be responsible for the following among others;

  • Making sure that the premises are clean.
  • Managing file system.
  • Recording information as needed.
  • Greeting visitors.
  • Updating paperwork, maintaining documents and word processing.
  • Performing general office clerk duties and errands.
  • Any other duty as assigned by management.

Qualifications & Skills –

  • Holder of Malawi school certificate of education (MSCE).
  • Ability to write clearly and able to use Microsoft word.
  • Warm personality with strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work well with limited supervision.
  • Great communication skills.
