NIRAS Ltd/LTSM Chitukuko Ltd is seeking a Project and Office Administrator from 1st May 2019, to manage the project administration and accounting for the DFID Commercial Agriculture for Smallholders and Agribusinesses project (CASA). Additionally, the Administrator is expected to manage all office administration and HR for NIRAS Malawi under the guidance of the Finance Manager and the Country Office Manager.

Responsibilities:

General office administration: managing supplies, support staff, errands, etc
Responsible for logistical support for office and project vehicles
Admin support to technical staff and consultants
Inventory and maintenance of physical and digital files and assets
Assisting with administrative tasks of bid/tender production
Updating and maintaining office policies and manuals
Assist the Finance Manager with bookkeeping, tax, and HR tasks
Other ad hoc Admin duties as required by the business

Qualifications and skills:

Bachelor’s degree required within a relevant field
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
Proficiency in MS Office with expertise in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
Ability to analyze and revise operating practices to improve efficiency
Detail oriented and comfortable working in a fast?paced office environment
Exceptional communication skills in Chichewa and English
Superior organization skills and dedication to completing tasks in a timely manner
Driver’s license is considered an asset
