Retail – Territory Manager

Job Description:

Maintain administrative control of the assigned clients portfolio, as well in goal achievement and in effectiveness to recover values, maintain the credit lines established by the company and making cashing negotiations

Participate in negotiations with potential clients as well as preparing offers and estimates

Maintain an update list of fuel prices, oil and lubricants, etc. and notify the providers/clients about any changes in fuel prices  Supervise and monitor Company Operated service stations to optimize volumes and manage costs and leakages

Negotiate lease agreements and manage landlord relationships in order to secure tenure and for continued operations.  Request contracts and maintain control of validity periods

Control maintenance and assessment if the inventories left by the consignment to agents and value calculation for Banks Guarantees

Review weekly and make recommendations on pricing for each service station within the territory so as to protect market share and minimize compromising unit gross margins. Provide administrative support to new clients for the inventory control of fuels and technical advice for the sale of the company products.

Collate, review, analyse  and present territory operational reports to the retail manager Monitor projected sales volume, monthly results analysis, and the elaboration of sales and invoicing reports Elaboration of credits notes related to Price adjustments, or invoice annulment;

Elaborate reports and statistics required.

Identity and develop proposals for NTIs and site development.  Provide advice and support to clients with administrative problems and implementation as well as the execution of the Business plans and all the norms, standards and commercial procedures of the company

Evaluate the price changes according to the budget, competition and the needs of the independent market in order to increase the sales

Problem solving of loading Schedules, reception of requests, payments, product quality, transportation, stickers, faults, prices, invoicing and other situations with the clients

Maintain close and constant communication with the operation/logistic/customers service departments;

Plan and organize business trips and field visits, to achieve effective coverage of the assigned areas;

  • Overseeing and growing Retail and commercial  business and ensuring safe operations at all retail and Commercial customer sites in the North.

  • Ensure proper protection and efficient utilization of company properties and equipment
  • Manage retail dealers to ensure compliance to company policies and standards while growing the business.
  • Managing commercial customers in the region and be accountable for customers’ profit story.
  • Interpret and communicate company policies to customers.
  • Debt management in line with corporate credit policy
  • Co-ordinate  Health Safety & Environmental (HSE) activities at customers’ sites.
  • Plan, organize and implement customer training programmes

Requirements:

Work Experience:

At least 3 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.

Education:

Bachelor: Business Administration/Management (Required), Bachelor of Arts (B.A.): Marketing (Required)

Skills:

Advanced user of Microsoft Office applications, Having a friendly, engaging personality is preferred with confident manner, Honesty and integrity
