PSI Malawi mission is to support low income and at risk Malawians to lead healthier lives through the provision and promotion of quality products and services, in line with the Government of Malawi goals. To accomplish its mission, PSI Malawi is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill the following vacant position;

Site Supervisor

Reporting to Service Delivery Coordinator, the site supervisor will be responsible for the following specific duties;

  • Responsible for daily management of activities, procedures and delegation of tasks to service provision staff
  • Coordinate and supervise all aspects of on-site logistics including planning and program reports
  • Manage communication with MoH clinic site personnel
  • Supervise implementation of infection measures in order to minimizes occurrence of IP related AEs at site level
  • Prepare and submit site monthly reports and documentation of achievements and challenges in order to feedback on the program progress to the Service Delivery Manager
  • Responsible for submitting weekly summary of client recruitment and Adverse Events to the service Delivery Manager
  • Manage supply chain at point of service delivery in order to ensure availability of essential supplies, commodities and equipment for quality service
  • Liaise with the Service Delivery Manager on Staff training needs

Qualification, Knowledge, Abilities and Skills 

  • Degree in Nursing/University Diploma in Nursing from a recognised institution and registered with Nurses and Midwives council of Malawi with a minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in clinical practice with experience in supervising and managing clinics
  • Must have outreach and supervisory skills
  • Must have team management experience
  • Ability to analyse, interpret and assist to solve difficult problems arising from the organisation’s cultural diversity
  • Self-starter, effective team player and demonstrated verifiable result-oriented track
