Centre for Health, Agriculture, Development Research and Consulting (CHAD) is a local research and consulting firm with a primary focus of contributing towards evidence-informed policy formulation to address major public health problems. CHAD is recruiting for a pilot (6 months) titled Morbidity Operational Research for Bilhazia Implementation Decisions (MORBID). This research project seeks to define updated, evidence-based morbidity control targets for schistomiasis (bilharzia) control. Should the pilot be successful, a larger study will be undertaken with the overarching aim to provide targets that can be used to measure progress for control interventions, and potentially help transition to future schistosomiasis elimination efforts. The aim is to identify infection levels below which there is little, or no, detectable schistosomiasis-associated morbidity. The following positions are required:
