Duties and Responsibilities
Cleaning the restaurant at the beginning of every shift to maintain hygiene standards
Laying up tables with clean linen, crockery, cutlery and glassware in accordance with the menu of the day to ensure efficiency in work flow every day
Welcoming guests by acknowledging them from a distance with a smile in a friendly manner, greeting them by name, if possible and leading them to a sitting place of their choice to make them feel at home at all times
Presenting menus, explaining contents, and offering suggestions for efficient service and guest satisfaction at all times
Taking orders from guests by using order pads and presenting them to chefs and barmen to satisfy the guests requirements.
Qualification and Requirements
MSCE with credits in English and Mathematics
Certificate in Food and Beverage Service from recognized training institutions
Excellent communication and customer care skills
3 years experience
Commitment, honesty and flexibility
Knowledge in Point of Sale (POS) will be an added advantage.
